Ministry Team

Annette was ordained and inducted to Carnoustie Panbride in 2017 and now serves as one of the team ministers at Carnoustie Trinity Church. Originally from Glasgow, Annette studied for the ministry at Glasgow University. Annette is married to George and they have three grown up children and a granddaughter.  Annette feels a real call to children’s ministry and is delighted to be Chaplain to Carlogie Primary School and the local Scout company as well as Chaplain to Dundee & Angus Battalion of the Boys’ Brigade. 

Mike has served the Carnoustie community since 2003, initially as minister of Barry linked with Carnoustie Church, and now as part of the team ministry at Carnoustie Trinity Church.  Following childhood in the Scottish Borders, Mike studied for the ministry at Aberdeen University and was Ordained and Inducted to Dundee: Mains in 1991, where he served for 12 years before translating to Barry with Carnoustie.  Mike is married to Rhona and they have two grown up children.  Mike has previously served as school chaplain to Woodlands and Burnside Primary Schools and to the High School, though that has largely fallen by the wayside since Covid.  He has always had a strong involvement with Presbytery – serving as Presbytery Clerk in Angus for over eight years – and has had significant service with National Church committees.  Mike is particularly keen to foster mission, and has been a Leader or Trustee of a number of organisations, including CPAS, Solas CPC and Discovery Camps.
